Luxury brand Louis Vuitton has become a title partner of the America’s Cup World Series, the America’s Cup Qualifiers and Challenger Playoffs as well as the presenting partner of the 35th America’s Cup Match. To celebrate this they have unveiled a new designer case for the America’s Cup. The Cup is one of the oldest world sport trophies, dating back to 1851.
For the second time in 2014, FIFA commissioned Louis Vuitton to design a case for the transportation of the solid gold World Cup trophy. The bespoke trunk, which was first used in South Africa 2010, was hand-crafted in Louis Vuitton’s legendary workshop Asnières. Its exterior is adorned with the classic LV monogram.
